When we moved to Ludlow in 1997 to have letting accommodation we did not want to be an hotel or guest house so we became A restaurant with rooms - at that time an unknown category not recognised by the Guides. Now that it is a familar style of establishment we are upgrading to keep
Mr Underhill’s gently ahead of the trends.

We have four deluxe rooms, three in the house and The ‘Shed’. In the main house we have one room with a super-Kingsize bed, ‘open plan’ sitting room and two bathrooms, one with a double-size power shower and one with a bath. We are working on two new rooms with Kingsize beds, separate sitting rooms and spa bathrooms with pool baths and steam rooms for the ultimate in pampering. These rooms all overlook the garden onto the river.

The ‘Shed’ is a timber framed building, the upper floor has a large bed, sitting room with a super-Kingsize bed, bathroom with a large bath and separate shower, armchairs by French windows overlooking the river, big window looking up river and you just press a button to open curtains and reveal the view.
